The series has been created especially for the Universal Expo Milan 2015 in collaboration with FAO and the UNESCO Venice Office (United Nations), starring a young Leonardo da Vinci. Each episode covers a topical theme including nutrition, locally sourced and seasonal ingredients, food waste and renewable energy sources. Leonardo uses his creative inventions to solve problems and help those around him.

Through humour and adventure, young viewers are introduced to important subjects made accessible and easy to understand thanks to colorful and captivating locations, fun dialogues and strong, relatable characters.
